Today we finally received our first letter from Tyler. As you can imagine we were incredibly excited, there were even a few tears of joy. Here is what he had to say:
Dear Family,
Let me just start by saying that the MTC is awesome! I am having so much fun. I love my district and the people in it. My companion is Elder Lee and he is from Ephraim, Utah. He is really cool and we are great friends. The food here is good, but maybe too good. Our teacher is awesome, he speaks English and Portuguese, but only speaks Portuguese to us. We have two sisters in our district and they are cool. I found out my P-day is Tuesday. Learning the language is a little hard, but it's only bee one day. I'm having so much fun. All my buddies and I go out to the field and play soccer during our gym time. It feels so good to finally workout. I'm telling you I do NOT want to gain weight in the MTC. Thank you guys so much for the letters and treats, I love them and you so much! I love you guys with all my heart and you mean the world to me. I miss you and hope you are doing okay. I pray for you every night and morning.
Love, Elder Rusnell
