This week has been a really exciting week. First things first Manuela was baptized this Saturday the 27th. She was so happy to be baptized. She was the one who was a referral from a member. She wanted to be baptized so badly because she knew the church to be true already. We are so proud of her and her decision to be baptized. President Ruberval (branch President) was the one to baptize her. That same day I was also able to give Alvaro one of our investigators a priesthood blessing. That was a very spiritual moment for me and him. He is going through some hard times right now so I talked to him about a priesthood blessings and offered if he would like one and he said yes. We asked him which one of us would do it and he picked me. So as I was saying the prayer I didn't know what he wanted to hear so I let the Spirit take over and after the blessing he told us that was the best prayer he has ever heard and that he needed to hear that. I know that because I am living my life worthily I was able to have the spirit to help say what he needed to hear. I’m so grateful that I am able to hold the priesthood so that I may bless the lives of others when they need it.
It’s so good to hear that I am being a good example for others wither it be Jordan or some of my friends. I’m glad the way I live my life can bless others and that is a wonderful blessing in my life. I’m so very grateful for the opportunity to Skype with you guys. That was the best Christmas ever. I loved seeing all your guys face and to see how much you guys have changed. I will cherish that forever. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas. I know that we did here in Portugal. I love you all so much. Stay cool and to remember to always have a smile on your face.
With all my love,
Elder Rusnell
