Bom Ano! I hope you guys had great time celebrating the New Year and making lots of new goals for this year. I know that I did. For all of you that have been praying for me I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. The language is coming really well now I’m only speaking Portuguese outside of our apartment and its helping me a lot. In fact last Sunday I actually taught a lesson in class all by myself and everyone said it was really good so I’m happy with that.
I want to share a spiritual experience with you guys. So, last Saturday we were planning for the day and when we came to one of our investigators we both had a feeling that we need to teach them about the plan of salvation. We don’t know why we needed to teach them this because we have already taught them the plan of salvation. So we followed the feelings and planned for it anyways. Later that day we went to our lesson. In the middle of the lesson Alexandra (the mom) got a call it was one of her close friends. She told her that another close friend had passed away that day. We asked her if she was alright and she told us that she was ok and that she would like a hug so Sister Jeffers gave her a big hug. She later told us that because we taught the plan of salvation that night she felt so much better. I know that the Holy Ghost gave us inspiration when we were planning that morning to teach her that lesson. I’m so grateful that I am able to listen to the Spirit so that we may help others. It’s always important to have the Spirit and to listen to it because you never know what could happen when you do.
I encourage all of you to study more about the Holy Ghost and how you can keep it with you always. Because when we have the Holy Ghost in our lives we will ALWAYS have a happier life and that is a promise from God. I love you all so much and hope you all have a very happy 2015.
With all my love,
