Well hello family!
Everything in Beja is just awesome. I just finished my first transfer in the mission. And Elder Beckstrand Is transferring out. He is now an AP in Lisboa. AP means Assistant to the President. That's really cool for him. You only get there if you are a really good missionary, and he was. So now I have a new companion and his name is Elder Doxey. He is from Sandy, Utah. He is a really cool Elder. So on Friday we get to have Quentin L. Cook come and speak to us. I'm really excited about that. So because of that we have to take a 3 hour bus ride to Lisboa. I cant wait to meet him and shake his hand. This week we also went on a division (splits). We go with a different Elder that day so we can learn new things and gain new experiences. I went with Elder Roberts. We had a really good day, we talked to lots of people and had really great lessons. At the end of the day he took me to a place called the waterfront. Its basically a giant man made pond with fish in it and rails all around it. Well at night on the rails there are a lot of spider webs on them. And where there are spider webs there are sure to be spiders. So there are these giant webs with giant spiders in the center of the web waiting for a bug to fly in its web (see photos below).
Its November and that means its Thanksgiving. Too bad Portugal doesn't celebrate it. They only really celebrate Christmas here. How´s the ward doing? I miss my ward. I pray that everything is going good back at home. I love you guys so much stay awesome and always have the spirit with you.
Love,
Elder Rusnell
