Hey every one. This week was great and was also crazy. All of you know that we are working with Tanha (one of our investigators). She was marked to be baptized last Saturday, but she had problems with work so she couldn’t do it this week. So we had to mark it for next week. She is super excited to get baptized, but work still isn’t being so nice to her. She has a better week this week. One cool thing about this baptism is that we will have it at the beach. I will be able to baptize her on the beach, that’s pretty cool.
This week we also had an interesting contact with someone. We contacted a man named Humberto. He is from Brazil. He had talked with the missionaries there once and so we started a conversation. We talked about our beliefs and more. He told us that he was an owner of a restaurant that served Brazilian food. He wanted to show us where it is so we got in his car and he took us over there. He gave us some water and showed us around his restaurant. We met some workers and they really liked us. Then he took us to a fruit tree in the backyard and gave us some fruit. The fruit is called loguat. It is really good and it’s super sweet in taste. Then we drove back after he showed us his restaurant. He told us that we could pass by again and talk, so we will definitely do that. He was really cool.
We also had a fun activity with the young men in the ward. We had a make your own pizza night at one of their houses. We had some less-actives and non-members there as well. They were so cool with us. So we made some new friends through that. We had a great week. Sorry that I don’t have much to say, but I had a lot of stuff to do today so I didn’t have much time. Well, I love you all so much.
Come muito amor,
